Not FAIR!

Ok, so those of you who have given birth to a child will definitely agree with me when I say there are very few women who look "good" after being in labor and delivering a baby. This time that I am talking about is within the first few hours, before you are able to wipe the sweat away, get a brush, and apply some sort of something to tidy yourself up. Well, that's how it was for me, and I have yet to see anyone who proved my theory wrong. That is, until I got off the airplane on November 6th, and went straight to the hospital where my sister, Kinsey had JUST given birth to my newest nephie, Donevan, a half hour prior. This picture is definitely within the first hour or two after she had him, and she was still GLOWING and BEAUTIFUL! NOT FAIR! Geesh..she didn't even cut a sweat!

I am so glad I was able to be there to see him so brand new! Love you Kinz!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

We do a lot of traveling, and the boys are pretty much veterans when it comes to airports, security lines and airplanes. I thought I would post a few cute pictures I took of the boys during our recent trip to Reno, Nv.
All I have to do is give Kade some food, and Kanigh some music or a movie, and they are set! I am SO lucky to have such well-behaved boys!

There's NO DOUBT, if they stay awake on the airplane, as soon as they hit car seats, they are OUT COLD!

Haircuts

So I finally cried my tears and admitted that my baby is old enough to get his first haircut. I LOVE his beautiful curls, but the winter and curls isn't a good combination, especially after hats and hoods. So, I just trimmed a bit off the top to make the curls more manageable. Kanigh also needed a cut, so after plenty of bribes in the form of skittles, they were ready to go. And they were troopers!

Here is Kade before the trimming...

Kanigh all combed out...

Kade's baby curls.

The handsome fellas after a GREAT haircut by Mama (and a bath).. I can't believe they were both still all smiles at this point!

Hard to believe they are getting so BIG! I miss my babies!
